Lynne Bluff
Lynne has a BSc Nursing degree from Wits University. She is a registered nurse and midwife and an internationally certified childbirth educator.
Lynne founded the Childbirth Educators Professional Forum group in 1998 and it has grown from strength to strength – providing healthcare professionals in private practice in South Africa with up to date evidenced based birth.
She is also the editor and publisher of the Professional Forum magazine as well as the Expectant Mothers Guide magazine (28 years). Her passion lies with evidence based birth and informed decisions based on knowledge of alternatives. She is passionate about helping pregnant moms and dads on this wonderful journey of discovery.

Tina Otte
Tina Otte owns and runs the Family & Child Centre in Randburg and is a registered nurse/midwife, having qualified in 1978 at the Queen Victoria Maternity Hospital in JHB. In 1992 she qualified as an internationally certified Childbirth Educator (ICEA) and has been teaching childbirth education classes for 38 years. She has had more than 30,000 couples through her hands during this time.
She is a specialist prenatal exercise instructor and has developed a training programme for fitness professionals, on safe exercise in pregnancy.
Tina is a certified baby massage instructor and delights in helping mothers enhance their bonding with their babies through intentional touch.
Tina is the author of several books on pregnancy and birth and was the former specialist editor of Your Pregnancy magazine, from 1997 to 2019.
Tina has a special interest on pre-birth life and how the time in the womb, influences who we turn out to be.
Tina is passionate about protecting the unique moments immediately after birth, which are so important to mother and baby and believes that mothers and babies should not be separated at this time, unless for very good reasons.
Tina is mother to two beautiful adult daughters, and grandmother of four.
She has been married to her husband Ralph for 43years.
Her enjoys pottery and riding her Harley Davidson Motorcycle with her husband.
